Della Pnika
1978, 1st INTERNATIONAL CAT SHOW - REGGIO EMILIA - ITALY
IC PENDLEMIST MORWENNA 32 sp, UK import, was on exhibition, for the first
time in Italy by a Swiss breeder Mme Elisabeth Witchi " DEL MONTE BISBINO".
She was the first tabby point Siamese I had ever seen! I liked her so much that I
decided to breed and show tabby points.
I imported a lilac point from the "DEL MONTE BISBINO" cattery. Her name was
CH HASCHIA DEL MONTE BISBINO, 24c (CH Empereur di Bang Saphan, 24 x
Chalee, 24c). Haschia had outstanding eye colour, perfect contrast and very good
coat texture. Haschia won many CAC, BOB and BIS in Italy and also in some
international shows organized by Mrs Yvonne Valli (DEL TITANO) in San Marino.
Two years later I moved to London with my dog and Haschia. There I met the very
best of the Siamese world... breeders, judges, fantastic studs, etc. There were
many Siamese on exhibition in many quality shows!!! (Penyrallt Picasso,
Amberseal Electo, Zachary Apollo, Penyrallt Juanita, the Pendlemists, the
Foxtwists, the Lovinamists, etc.
I bought my first seal tabby point female, Italian Champion POSAMI ISABELLA,
at the Progressive Show in London where she won her 3-6 months class. Isabella
had a magnificent profile, long body and sthe shortest of coats. She won many
BIS, CAC, CACIB in Italian shows. [CH Kiriakakos Kiu, born in London, bred by me
in 1982] During my stay in London Isabella was mated in 1982 to GR CH
PENYRALLT PICASSO, 24. What a beautiful male!!! Thank you very much Mrs
Tatjana Folkes (CYMBELINE). Out of this mating four kittens were born. I kept two
of them, Italian CH Kiriakakos Kiu, 32cp and Italian CH Petrula Simh, 32sp. Both
won many CAC, CACIB, BOB and BIS in Italy. They were the first tabby Siamese
imported to Italy. Kiri had beautiful type, good eye colour and correct chocolate
tabby points.
1983. My first import from Germany was from Mrs Rita Schottler's cattery, VON
SAILENDRA. A seal tabby female, TABBY VON SAILENDRA (GIC Beaumaris
Achilles, 32sp x Heidi, 24). Tabby had a very good top of head, outstanding eyes
for colour and setting, a true, rare Siamese expression and a strong lion chin.
Tabby was to become the "foundation queen" in all my pedigrees today. Thank

1984. The second Siamese import from Germany was from the same cattery
again, VON SAILENDRA. WICHNOU VON SAILENDRA, 24. Tabby and Wichnou
(Knuspi) produced some very good kittens during my military service in Greece.
OKEANIS DELLA PNIKA and TIRSO DELLA PNIKA, 1 CAC, 1° EX at the INT
EXPO in San Marino, owner Mr. Gianfranco Mantovani.
1986. CYMBELINE SCIROCCO, 24 (GR CH Daunus Pascali, 24c X CH
Dunchattan Tequila, 24) was imported to Italy. Thank you Mrs Folkes once again.

SHOMIRO TEQUILA SUNRISE, chocolate tortie tabby point (Gr. Ch. Shomiro
Silver Dollar X Lowdollah Torril, red point), UK import.
[Orplid's Marut] 1987. ORPLID'S MARUT, 24 came from Germany to our cattery.
Marut was from top healthy english bloodlines, mixed with some Swedish and
Dutch lines.
1988. An outstanding male was imported from UK. PANNADULOA MIDAS
TOUCH, 32sp, [Pannaduloa Midas Touch, 32 sp] [Pannaduloa Midas Touch, 32
sp] (Gr. Ch. SHERMESE TIGERS EYE, 32sp X PANNADULOA ELATION, 24). He
won many kitten classes in England together with his full sister Ch. Int.
PANNADULOA LOTSA STYLE ( Norway). Thank you so much Mr. Hansson
(PANNADULOA).
Midas was mated to Int. Ch. NANTIASTISH MARHALI owner Luigi Lanfranchi
(MARHALI). Nantiastish was mated to Ch. IXION DELLA PNIKA also and
[Pannaduloa Midas Touch, 32 sp] p [Okeanos della Pnika] roduced QUIVIRA
MARHALI a nice tortie girl exported to Germany, Orplid's cattery. Quivira is the
dam of Ch. ORPLID'S FINGAL, red point male.
Out of Midas Touch X HEPSIBA DELLA PNIKA, 32bp a very nice blu point male
was born: OKEANOS DELLA PNIKA, owners Massimo Giornelli and his wife,
Daniela Toccaceli.
1997. AZZULES MARHALI, a cream point boy, arrived in our cattery. Azzules
came out of Pendlem [Azzules Marhali] ist and Della Pnika lines (Ch. IXION
DELLA PNIKA, 32 bp), today in all our pedigrees. Many thanks to Luigi Lanfranchi
and his wife Marzia Biasetti.
2003 and 2004. two nice seal point girls came from UK. One is a pure seal point.
Both girls have very important pedigrees.
2006. A new UK import. blue point boy, has arrived to Italy to join the seal point
girls.
I have not been able to show any of my cats for a long time having been very busy
with my job, but soon we will be back on the show bench. DELLA PNIKA prefix
was register with FIFE in 1985, but since 1993 DELLA PNIKA cats are all
registered in USA with CFA. I do breed to the GCCF standard.
